• Carrying out of testing in accordance with Australian and Main Roads Standards
• Identification and reporting of non-conformances to the Supervisors or Managers
• Data entry and reporting of selected testing procedures under the relevant scopes of accreditation
• Ensure daily equipment checks are carried out
• Comply to any licensing requirements (State/Federal)
• Adhere to the company’s human resources policy manual
• Working in a safe manner as per the company’s OH&S procedures
• Comply to the Laboratory Quality & Laboratory Procedures Manual
• Be helpful and respectful to clients which is to be always carried out in the best interests of the company
• To be on time and to carry out duties in a fit for purpose manner
• Schedule, undertake and finalise engineering site inspections to client request

Qualifications

Qualifications listed are a guideline and an expected minimum but not limited to:

• Certificate III in Construction Materials Testing
• Employed in a laboratory for a minimum of 3 years
• Hold a current Nuclear Density Gauge Licence ( QLD )
• Hold a white Card ( Construction Card )
• Drivers Licence ( Current )
• Experienced or conducted a range of testing in accordance with either AS1289, AS1012, TMR or AS1141 standards
